Need some good Father’s Day Ideas?
Something that’s not…well, lame? Like that light up tie your sister gave him last year? (Really?!) No wonder you are his favorite. You can do what everybody else does: give him a mug, a tie or some new golf balls.
You can buy him an new set of wrenches or even a grill. But somehow, that does not really cut it. You want something that shows how awesome he is. Why not, for example, take him out for a round of golf, a day of fishing or a massive backyard barbecue. (where he gets to keep the new grill.)
Book him a saltwater fishing day on the coast or a sweet camping getaway that includes his buddies. Listen, your dad is the man.
The one. The only. The legend.
(And the last thing a legend needs for Father’s Day is another beer koozie.)
So if you really, really want to get your dad something good for Father’s Day, give him the gift of laughter and spending time with his family.
Get Your Dad Something Epic for Father’s Day
The lion needs to roar on Father’s Day (in a way that will not get him in trouble with the lioness, aka- your mom). So take him down to the Improv in Houston and let them get him roaring with laughter.
Buy the guy that taught you to ride a bike, fix a flat and drive a nail, a great meal and an ice-cold beer.
Let him get a good belly laugh. It is the least you can do considering that he still doesn’t know you were the one that flushed his watch when you were three.
So pay him back this Father’s Day with a hearty round of beers and comedy. And maybe, just maybe, a new watch.
